Fota Wildlife
We went to Fota on the 7th of march. We had to get bus up there. The bus was two hours. When we got there we were separated into two groups my group were doing a shepherd game, in teams of six. The teams had 5 sheep and one shepherd, the sheep were blindfolded and the shepherd couldn't talk or walk could only whistle and click or stamp their foot. After that we went off and played am explorer game with 3 teams one explorer and the rest researchers, the explorer had a picture of an animal and had o pass on the info like in Chinese whispers to the other side of the team and have them build them out of Lego. After all that we finally got to look at some animals, the first ones we saw were the giraffes.
After that we went into the kitchens where the food is prepared for the animals, and then to the housing for the giraffes.

They are kinda like pigs but with a long snout. we saw a few of hem and then moved onto the next animal.

At this point we had looped back to the other side of giraffe enclosure.
we then walked over to the cheetah cubs and get to see them for a bit.
we saw an eagle and two seals
kangaroos were up next. And I think one of them had a joey in its pouch.
After that we saw the spider monkeys where the oldest one in the area was blue eyes.
Next we went to the butterfly area where one happened to land on Ms murghta.
In the same area we saw a huge snake
some fish
we saw tigers next
we saw lions and the cubs
some buffaloes were next
then finally we saw the mercats.
